Violinist Daniel Gilbert

Daniel Gilbert is a professional violinist in the Memphis area.  He plays regularly with PRIZM Ensemble, Luna Nova, The Orpheum Theater, and with the Memphis Symphony and Jackson Symphony.  Daniel also teaches at Bellevue School of the Performing Arts.  He has appeared as both concertmaster and soloist with the Bellevue Baptist Church Orchestra, the Delta Symphony Orchestra in Jonesboro, and Eroica Ensemble.  Daniel is married to Lori Gilbert, also a violinist.
                                                                                                             


Violinist Melanie Franklin


Melanie Thornton Franklin, a native of the mid-south, is a violinist, vocalist, teacher, home school mom and a new preacher’s wife. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Violin Performance in 1996 and has been a member of chamber ensembles and symphonies all over the southeast including the Louisiana Philharmonic and the symphony orchestras of Jackson, Memphis, Baton Rouge, Arkansas, Mississippi, and The Magnolia and Rivendell String Quartets.




Violist Julie Morrison

A native of Amarillo, Texas, Julie Morrison has distinguished herself as a versatile and consummate musician.  A graduate of The University of Texas, Julie played violin in The Amarillo Symphony for 25 years and was a regular member of the Amarillo Opera Orchestra and Chamber Music Amarillo.  She also served for 19 years as violist in The Vienna Conspiracy String Quartet.  Julie Morrison performs regularly with The Rivendell String Quartet, and in the symphony orchestras of Jackson, TN, Tupelo, MS,  Paducah, KY, and Jonesboro, AR.



Cellist Douglas Morrison

A native of Michigan, Douglas Morrison completed both his bachelor's and doctoral degrees in music at Michigan State University.  A founding member of The Rivendell String Quartet, Douglas contributes not only his talents as a cellist but also as an arranger for the quartet.  Morrison has enjoyed a career as a professional conductor leading orchestras at East Carolina University, West Texas A&M, and State University of New York (Fredonia) as well as youth orchestras in Lexington, KY, Amarillo, TX, and Memphis, TN.
